Overview: Every contribution to ADSA Publications, including proceedings of ADSA conferences/summits/meetings, and standalone publications, is subject to the following terms. Submission of a contribution to ADSA signifies your acceptance of these terms. Furthermore, it is expected that if your Article is published ADSA that it will be the first publication in English, and submission of your contribution constitutes your representation to ADSA that such is the case. The following terms will become binding on acceptance of your contribution for publication.
Open Access Publication: ADSA publishes openly via the PubPub platform. Your article will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
Retention of Copyright: You will retain copyright to your Article. However, to enable ADSA to effect wide dissemination of your work, directly and through arrangements with abstract services, database publishers, and others, you give ADSA certain nonexclusive licenses as set forth below.
Licenses to ADSA: You give to ADSA, a nonexclusive license to reproduce, distribute, display and transmit the Article in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered. However, we agree not to include the Article as a whole, or license others to include it, in any journal or venue other than that to which you have submitted for publication. All licenses you grant us are free of any fee or royalty. The licenses you grant us here may be sublicensed and may be transferred to any subsequent sponsor or publisher of ADSA Publications and will be valid throughout the world for the entire term of copyright in the article.
Warranties: You warrant as follows:
You are the sole author of the Article, and generally that you have a complete and unencumbered right to make the grants you make to us;
The Article does not libel anyone, invade anyone's copyright or otherwise violate any statutory or common law right of anyone, and that you have made all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of any factual information contained in the article.
You will indemnify ADSA against any claim or action, alleging facts which, if true, constitute a breach of any of the foregoing warranties.
Concerning Promotional Material: We will assume that you are giving ADSA permission to use portions of your Article in promotional materials for ADSA unless you notify us in writing to the contrary. In the event that your Article is used for this purpose, you will be appropriately credited.
First Publication Credit: You will ensure that any dissemination of the Article authorized by you gives appropriate first publication credit to ADSA.
Multiple Authors: If there is more than one author of the Article, the word "you" includes all authors jointly and severally.
